Give It a Swirl DayWe had a fantastic big clean up at the sanctuary on Saturday 27th of September 2008. Our regular volunteers and some newbies rallied together to mark National Volunteer Day, make the most of the sun, and give the sanctuary a makeover!!!! We filled the hired skip, got tremondous work done and managed to have fun while we were at it! The place looks fantastic now, so many thanks to Paul, Marlene, Bevan, Fiona, Marie, Pamela, Martin, Maria, Ashling, and Marie who all came out and spent their Saturday weeding, digging, painting, hauling scrap to the skip, playing with the dogs and keeping a smile of their faces!!!!!
They say the proof is in the pudding and the results of all our hard work are evident in the pics below........
