We do not rehome dogs over 8
yrs of age because the change in surroundings can be
distressful. These dogs live happily at the sanctuary in safe
and warm surroundings with constant companionship. Other dogs
have had a very traumatic start in life and cannot be rehomed.
To help cover the costs of
veterinary care and food for these particular sanctuary
residents we have established a sponsorship scheme.
This is the ideal solution
for those who love animals but are not in a position to
actually adopt a dog. When you sponsor you will receive a
portrait as well as a short biography for your chosen dog. You
can visit the dog at the sanctuary, bring toys or treats and
take him/her for walks.
