Snowy, rescued by Athlone & West Midlands SPCA |
Snowy's story....
A pregnant dog was found near the ASPCA sanctuary. The dog was found near the ASPCA centre on the evening of Wednesday 6 August 2008. She is being kept in an isolation unit at the sanctuary. Inspector Paul McCormack has named the dog, which is a terrier cross, Snowy. Snowy has been checked by the vet and is in good health. She gave birth to 5 pups two weeks later. She is one of 40 dogs at the sanctuary now and Mr McCormack explained that thanks to successful fundraising efforts the ASPCA has been able to extend the kennels and build two isolation units, one of which is now being used by Snowy. |
