AXA Hearts in Action Help the ASPCA!!We had a great day a the sanctuary recently when a group of volunteers from AXA Assistance came out to help us as part of their AXA Hearts in Action programme. We took all the dogs out the back out for a good long walk, the group were great, taking a lot of interest in their dogs and giving them loads of TLC along the way. One volunteer was feeling very energetic and took his dog off on a run, the rest of us kept a slower pace and walked:-) The gang brought out a great hamper filled with goodies for the dogs, new beds, collars, leads, toys and also sponsored one of our older residents Buddy!!!! A great afternoon was had by all, volunteers and dogs alike, and we would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who came out on the day, please come again!!"
